5 Must see Destinations

There are so many wonderful places here alone in the U.S to visit. The best part is, these places

won’t necessarily drain your bank account. The beauty of these places is enough for anyone, anything else is just a bonus!

#1. Ledges Stare Park, Boone, Iowa

This beautiful park lays just on the outside of town. It’s well known for its hiking trails, overlook of the Des Moines River, which had been deemed “Stoner’s Point”. You could spend a day or the weekend here.
Families barbecue, camp, and hike the trails. This park is perfect for minimalist or hikers. You need no money money here.

#2. New Orleans, Louisiana

“Laissez les bon temp roule.” Let the good times roll, as good as it sounds, it’s an understatement. New Orleans is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, not only for it’s appearance but it’s culture as well. These two attributes make this city nearly incomparable to any other place.
The city and its people have so much to offer. My personal favorites, Mardi Gras and the authentic creole foods. Attending Mardi Gras should be on everyone’s bucket list. It’s an absolute MUST!

#3. Biloxi, Mississippi

Another personal favorite of mine, the beaches of Biloxi. This is place I often visit. Mississippi is quite beautiful in an outdated yet modern way. It’s holds houses and buildings of the past, forgotten and nearly covered in foliage. It holds a certain nostalgia that I’m not sure where it comes from. My first trip there was in 2019, but the place had felt familiar to me. Maybe it’s just the homey feeling it radiates.

#4. Sunset Point Rest Stop, Yavapai County, AZ

Yes! A rest stop of all places, “Why?” You ask. Because this land is absolutely beautiful. Complete shock came over me when I followed the path beyond the buildings. You can stand on the ridge and the land just flows and flows. One of the best parts about this, the beauty doesn’t cost a dime.

#5. Anywhere, New Mexico

Let me paint you a picture. You’re rolling down the interstate in an 18 wheeler, your feet are on the dashboard, the sun has just began to set. The ground is glowing a deeper red with just a hint of burnt orange. And you would never think you would see dirt as something so pretty. The sun sets on a line of burning fire behind the El Rito formations. You got the love of your life next to you, and you’re just happy.
I say anywhere because everywhere you look going through this state is just mesmerizing. From the dilapidated shacks on the side of the highway to the rolling hills of ugly cacti. It’s not just one destination, it’s all of them.
